I'm not a big corn on the cob fan, but my grandmother sent me an email a while ago with some new handy ways to cook corn. I thought this one was interesting, so I will share!

Place the corn cob in the microwave, husk and all, and microwave it for 4 minutes. Cut the the end off along the black line on the picture above, then squeeze the corn out of the husk from the opposite side. Enjoy, because there will be little of the hairy mess!
